What is the Beginner Bee?
The Great Bra Sewing Bee is buzzing with excitement over our first ever Beginner Bee! If you are new to bra and lingerie sewing, mark your calendar for August 4th. The first day of our conference is all about you, the newest members of the GBSBee Community of Makers. Experience 24 hours jam-packed with amazing opportunities to learn and create with some of the most knowledgeable experts in the industry! This day will be filled to the brim with inspiration, fun activities, and, most importantly, an entire schedule specially designed with beginners in mind. From LIVE classes, to interactive virtual sewing rooms, to a dedicated community forum, the Beginner Bee offers everything sewists need to get started on their #memade lingerie wardrobe!
The Beginner Bee’s live event may only last for one day, but our sewists have the opportunity to learn, connect, and create for five full days! The GBSBee team is pleased to announce recordings of the Beginner Bee live classes, exclusive video content, and the special beginner-friendly sew-along will be available to all Beginner Bee attendees through August 8th!

The Beginner Bee’s schedule of classes was specially curated with budding lingerie sewists in mind. Classes cover all the basics: from finding the right pattern and understanding measurements, to choosing fabrics and fitting your bra. You can count on the Beginner Bee’s classes to build a foundation of knowledge and skills to grow your technique to the next level.
